Customer Challenge
A discrete automotive manufacturer needed strategies and programs for protecting their plant floor environment from industrial cyber security risks.
- They had no in-house resources for conducting plant floor process audits.
- They desired the ability to whitelist programs running on manufacturing equipment and block all other programs.
Solution Approach
Collaborated with client’s fast-paced manufacturing process and IT infrastructure. A plan was put into place to lock down production equipment.
- USB/external device policy & procedure put in place on stations and PC equipment.
- Implemented a software approval process and procedures to enable whitelisting of approved software/license packages on machines.
