In this webinar, we discussed how clips and connectors can be accurately simulated in the IPS software. Once created, the connectors and clips can be added to a database for use across multiple studies in the IPS tool. Connectors and clips are an important aspect of many flexible designs. Understanding where and how your cables and hoses are fixed and the behavior of the connecting components is critical to reaching an optimized design. Using the IPS tool, users can define the specific behavior of connectors and clips including: the number of fixation points, support range, and kinematic behavior. Once defined, connectors and clips are added to a users IPS database for continued use across all IPS studies. Watch the recording to learn how!
