Through Sandalwood’s history, the team has been distributed in one way or another. In order to ensure that our culture was being maintained and to meet up with the team from time-to-time, we have always prioritized in-person staff days. These days provide a chance to get together in-person, catch-up, discuss Sandalwood news, internal and external updates. |
Our Staff Days have evolved over the more than 30 year history of Sandalwood. We started out meeting in our office and going through slide decks with everyone in attendance.
We have saved Staff Day presentations back to the early 2000’s. As you can imagine, there is A LOT of ingrained Sandalwood knowledge that has been shared over the years.
During the pandemic, we shifted to monthly all-team meetings on a variety of topics. This format gave us an opportunity to continue to connect with our team members in a safe and efficient manner.
We still included some of our favorite activities, like talking about our mission, vision and core values, but also participating in fun icebreakers follows as a close second.
