Founded by Erich Mau to support the automotive industry in developing advanced technologies. Drawing on his expertise in automation, proven methodologies, and results-driven approach, he established the company to help organizations solve complex manufacturing challenges.
1994
Recognizing that successful implementation depends on both technology and people, Sandalwood expanded its focus to include ergonomics. By partnering with industry, labor, and academic organizations, the company helped improve workplace design and optimize human performance.
1998 to 2007
Sandalwood expanded its capabilities through innovative tools such as the Lean Manufacturing Assistant (LMA), Dynamic Impact Measurement Tool (DIMT), and Ergonomic Pathfinder (EPF). The company also broadened its customer base and service offerings across multiple industries.
2007 to Present
To remain competitive and deliver greater value, Sandalwood strengthened its technical expertise with Digital Human Modeling, Six Sigma leadership, and PMP-certified professionals. Strategic partnerships further enabled the delivery of integrated, turnkey engineering solutions.
