This approach has worked well for us and has helped us build strong trust-based relationships with our clients over the last 25 years as we expanded our plant floor systems integration and OT cyber security offerings.

Over the years, as our network and client base grew, we started to hear a lot about Inductive Automation Ignition.  As we started to look into their offering, we really liked what we saw!  They also reminded us, in the way the company conducted business, of Sandalwood itself.  We felt they were kindred spirits with a shared value system.  As we’ve had more opportunity to work with them over the last few years, we can confirm those early findings and provide a few examples of why we’ve come to believe that Ignition and Sandalwood are aligned so well.

They focus on customer-first principles, making it easy and affordable to start your smart manufacturing journey with Ignition and build on it in time as your operations and applicable use cases scale.

Easy and Enjoyable Partnership

Over the last several years we’ve had the pleasure of interacting with many Inductive Automation personnel across several departments of their company. We can say confidently that all experiences have been positive. As a partner we feel well-supported and that there is a genuine shared interest in our success. And we’re not the only ones, have a look at the Ignition Forum and the sharing of ideas that occurs there every day. The sense of community among users and integrators is palpable. It’s clear there is a focus amongst the Inductive Automation team to maintain their culture and build on the successes that have made them a favorite of end users and systems integrators alike.

Ignition software is constantly evolving and innovating the Ignition product. Over the last few years, there has been a strong focus with new development and releases around cloud and edge computing, in particular.

The Ignition Exchange also offers tremendous innovation with the user base adding new modules, Ignition training, tools and connectors all the time. We have also enjoyed our interaction with other Ignition integrators. With a wide, rapidly growing, enthusiastic and loyal user base, Inductive Automation is very well positioned to keep their finger on the pulse of a dynamic market and continue to adapt for the evolving needs of their customers.

It’s clear to see why our Sandalwood Systems Integration teams have become such believers in the Ignition platform and why we feel we are so well aligned with the Inductive Automation team. We work with various partners and platforms across our clients and always endeavor to take a customer-first approach.
