Last Wednesday August 25, 2021, the Sandalwood team along with our partner, Tim Stuart from Visual Decisions hosted a free webinar discussing Human Centered Process Design.
The presenters discussed the Human Centered Design program, a formalized concept, approach and customer solution set to the discipline of assessing, designing and implementing manufacturing processes and technologies centered in human physical and cognitive capabilities. As technology and requirements grow in scale and complexity, the human beings who execute these increasingly complex systems become evermore the differentiating factor in performance.
Further, the presenters discussed how manufacturing system elements need to be developed intentionally to leverage human capabilities and minimize risks from human limitations.
